MNRI・Neuro-Sensory-Motor Reflex Integration
Every Child Can Return to a Solid Starting Point
When your child's development hits a roadblock, you try hard to find answers but often just hear, "Let's wait and see." Perhaps the answer lies in the very first "reflexes" of life.

Principle・Step 1
What are Primitive Reflexes?
A reflex is the smallest unit of the nervous system and the first cornerstone laid by the brain in a child's early development. Try clicking through to follow its path—
A sound, a touch, a ray of light—the body's sensory receptors receive stimuli from within or the outside world.
Ideally, all primitive reflexes will sequentially "emerge → develop → mature → integrate" before the child turns 2 years old, forming the foundation for future focus, learning, and emotions.
When the Foundation Isn't Stable Yet
What Happens When Reflexes Aren't Well-Integrated?
Choose a situation that resonates with you the most and see what the body might be saying behind it.
Easily distracted, unable to sit still, forgetting the previous task when switching to a new one.
May be related to the continued activity of the "Moro reflex" or Tonic Neck Reflex—the brain is constantly on alert, making it hard to dedicate energy to focus.
When these reflexes are integrated, the nervous system no longer stays on constant high alert, allowing the child to more calmly focus on the task at hand.
The above is a general developmental description, not a diagnosis. Every child is unique, and the actual situation requires professional assessment.
Origin
It All Began with a Scientist Who Refused to Give Up
In 1989, while assisting children and families who had experienced severe trauma, Dr. Svetlana Masgutova discovered that when we return to the original reflexes, the nervous system has the opportunity to relearn. For over thirty years, she has dedicated her life to this path.

How the Therapy Works
What is it Like to Start Therapy?
Click on each step to see what the therapist will do, how your child will feel, and how you can participate together.
Based on the assessment results, the therapist will tailor a personalized integration plan for your child, deciding which reflexes to address first and in what sequence.
The child does not need to be present during this stage; it is a time for the therapist to "map out the route" for the child.
You will have a clear understanding of the upcoming practice direction and where your child's journey is heading.
The entire process is gentle and non-invasive. MNRI places special emphasis on "not re-traumatizing"—our goal is to help the child's body feel safe again.
